Good Morning from a cold Cape Town. Almost everyone is still asleep. Sitting here in my lounge I can hear there are some vehicles driving up and down Voortrekker Road going who knows where.

Well, there is good news for us here in South Africa. We are moving to level 1 lockdown from Monday the 21st of September 2020. Hooray. Who would have thought that a little virus called Corna (COVID 19) would bring the world to its knees? This has also resulted in the economies of the world taking a huge dive in the opposite direction from a positive to a negative view.

This will give every one of us hope here in South Africa, as least we will be able to move again. Despite the fact that we all live in our own counties, where ever that may be, we are all interdependent on each other for our livelihoods. This has been brought home so more forcibly during the year 2020.

Even though each and every country has some very strong building blocks, the weakest link is very valuable. So we as the population of our countries need to look after what we have because it can be taken away so quickly.

The time has come to stand together and build a better world for the future. But sadly the bad elements of human nature will take over. There is hope that there will be a better outcome and going forward.

Have a wonderful day on your life’s highway. Just avoid the taxies they can destroy your peace, they are not worth it.
